Why is my cat meowing at night?
One of the most regular complaints from cat owners, is of their cat's loud 'crying' in the middle of the night. This behaviour is unfortunately very common, particularly in older cats. Usually the cat just wants attention and reassurance that her humans are still around and she has not been left on her own. Cats often meow during the day as well, but the night call can seem much louder and more demanding!

I was pleasantly surprised at how well our cats adapted. I did some preparation before hand as I was advised that this would help smooth things along a bit.
the garden. If your cat regularly toilets or sprays indoors, it is certainly cause for concern. The occasional one-off accident may happen if a cat is unwell or is suddenly frightened or stressed by a particular event, but if toileting around the home persists, the cause should be investigated, both for the health and welfare of the cat, and also for your own convenience.
