Ginger going to her new home

WEBSITE - Sanctuary News and Events

Ginger was brought to our sanctuary 6 months ago from the streets. About 2 months ago one of the volunteers saw her turning around in circles. She suddenly became blind and was scared to death, unable to walk. We put her in a cage and took her to the vet who could not find out what it was.

Two of our volunteers, that are really stubborn, decided to take her to the best vet in Malta and see what he could tell them. He took x-rays and blood tests. From these x-rays he saw that she had a cyst growing in her ear that had burst her ear drum. Imagine how painful this would have been.

Ginger is now on medication she has to stay on this for more than 2 months. To be able to continue with her treatment we need kind hearted people like you to donate for her recovery, as the sanctuary has no money. The vet is charging 100 euro per week to medicate her and keep her in his clinic.

We would like to find her a good home.  Someone who is ready to take her to the vet and someone who has no cats. Please help ginger.

I will put photos of her soon when she has recovered a bit more and she will look as pretty as ever!
She is 8 months old , neutered and all ginger with beautiful eyes.

Ginger is now better still needs a lot of attention but she will not be with her new owner and we will all keep on taking care of her and praying for her.
