This is the story of Snowy.... 

For what must have been some time Snowy spent his life as a stray cat living in a cat colony in Kalkara. He wandered the streets for food and sheltering here and there whenever it rained. Nobody took care of him. 

Unlike other cats, Snowy is very docile and calm and he does not fight back. This caused him to be bulied by other cats.   

Luckily for Snowy, one of the tomasina volounteers found him and took him to our sanctuary. When he first arrived, he was so skinny and in a real bad state. We called him snowy because despite of being in the dirt and living stray, Snowy manages to keep his fur very clean and white.  He was such in a sick and frail state that we did not think he would live on. But he persevered and is now thriving well within the sanctuary. 

We took him to the vet and had to remove the broken teeth that he had left and put him on drip. Snowy can only eat soft food now, but he is in good health and happy with his other friends.
